I kinda like the Female Mesmer Grotto/Citadel sets the best. Other good ones, to me, are the Female Ele Grotto Aeromancer, Female Necro Grotto Necrotics, and the Female Ranger Grotto Druids.

As an elementalist, I prefer both sexes for 15k Hydromancer armor dyed silver and both sexes Fissure of Woe Armors dyed gold.

I just mix the armor sets I buy, because best looking armor is semi difficult to discuss what is attractive to one person is "wtf why did that guy buy that" to another.

My favorites:
1st Mesmer fow color doesnt matter the general look of it is awsome
2nd Warrior fow although common nowadays still has a good look to it
3rd Necros both male and female armors 15k sets mixing those is just awsome

I'm going to be very unpopular and say that I think the male FoW Ranger armor looks dead-awful! (I love my ranger so much, it pains me that he won't be the first to get a set of FoW

) ... now for my picks (that's picks, not pics):

Male
1) Elementalist FoW (in various colors) just looks neat, best of any male FoW IMHO
2) Ranger 15k Studded Leather, dyed black or silver (spiky-knees!)
3) 15k Platemail with/without ascalon helm

Female
1) Ranger 15k Studded Leather, very nice
2) Dead tie between Mesmer and Necro FoW armor ...
3) Female ele 15k anything-mancer.

Dislikes:
FoW Necro, female is ok but not great, male is really quite nasty.
15k necrotic female, 15k cultist female - both a case of nicer 1.5k at droks.
1.5k hydro - just looks boring without being nice and shiny.
1.5k aero female - never liked it - 15k is much much nicer.
15k male aero - IMHO makes the male eles look even more gay, wizard robes look better on them.
1.5k male rogues - what WERE they thinking!!!

It's a five way tie for first with male warriors coming in way last. Warrior armor in general looks rediculous, but the male stuff is horrible. What I wan to know is why the designers have some sick infatuation with growths on the shoulders of so many armors. Unless it's a headrest for when some noob won't skip a cutscene with Rurik droning on and on and on.

Nothing wrong with watching the cut scenes. I have had a lot of grief for not skipping them and tbh this is my first time playing the game I would like to watch the cut scenes to get a feel for the story tbh

Lol in others words your a relitivly new noob and you have not seen the droks or grotto armor. I dont know I do like the look of most of the armor. The Warriors armor is ok... the knights looks the coolest... i had it but i got tired of it. Right now im using Glats. I cant wait to get to grotto to start on my 15k each armor. The monks armor is kinda lame... its not really that great designs or anything... just some cloths or a few tatos that dont match. Thats one thing i would love. Make the armor match. I know no one really cares... but hey its a trivial detail that would make a few ppl happy. Silky you dont have to be lvl 20 to start working on getting droks. My ele, just out of pre, got a run to droks and bought the armor. I was only lvl say... 5-7. I do have a lvl 20 W/Mo and Mo/W that farm for me... yes... the monk is invisi. Generaly the armor could use a nice spruse up. Mabey they will make some shiny new armor in FACTIONS. That would be cool i cant wait to get to the new contenent and start the new adv. SWEET!!!1!!
